The Zipspeed (tm) pulley has 7075 Aerospace grade Aluminium side plates. This high specification Aluminium has been used to minimise flexing of the plates and provide superior wear resistance, whilst keeping the unit weight to a minimum.
50 mm wheels with special deep grove ball bearings with rubber seals. These superior Bearings have been chosen for optimal high speed, low friction performance. The rubber seals retain the grease lubricant, whilst defending the bearings from moisture and contaminants; giving the Zipspeed a lifespan of several thousand kms.
The Zipspeed is fitted with a rubber brake-buffer which absorbs impact load at the end of a run. The buffer is a wear item, which can be easily replaced.
Additional attachment holes, including an extra large central hole (12mm), which will accommodate a wide range of carabiners. There is an attachment hole at the rear, which can be used to attach a secondary lanyard. The small central hole is used to attach an accessory bar/handle.
